About the Mountain City Fiddlers Convention
RUN OF SHOW
Adult and Youth bluegrass musicians, singers and cloggers are invited to compete for cash prizes during the Mountain City Fiddlers Convention on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
The competition fee is $10 per person, per category. Spectator tickets will be available for $15 per person.
On-site registration will begin at 9:00am at Heritage Hall Theatre. Make sure you are in place 15 minutes prior to the start of the category competition. Late entries will not be juried. No refunds will be issued and fees are non-transferrable.

The Mountain City Fiddlers' Convention was held in the East Tennessee town of Mountain City, in May 1925. The convention was attended by many acclaimed Appalachian musicians who are considered pioneers of bluegrass and country music, such as G. B. Grayson, Charlie Bowman, and Al Hopkins.
